Wildlife and Pet Photo Contest:

Contest Rules:
- only one (1) 4x6 printed photo per
category (wildlife, pet) per person
- wildlife photos must be of animals
native to this area
- photo entries will NOT be returned to
you
- a photo release form must be signed
by the photographer and any people in the photo (or guardian if children)
- enter your printed photo(s) from
December 4th to January 31st
- one (1) prize will be awarded to the
first place winner in each category
- winners are decided by public
voting. Voting is February 2nd to 16th at the library
- entries will be on display on the
website but voting must be done in the library
All of the photos will be placed in a
book and kept on file for display at the library and other special township
occassions. Photos may be used by Nipigon Public Library and the Township
of Nipigon for promotional purposes.
Buy a Shelf Campaign
2006-2007:
Stumped for gift ideas? Help to
upgrade your library -- buy a shelf in the name of a loved one. Since we
started in October 2006 people
and organizations have contributed $8,530
towards our Buy a Shelf Campaign for the new Nipigon Public Library. Each
$50.00 donation entitles you to a charitable tax receipt and a name plaque on
the new shelf in the library but any monetary contribution is greatly
appreciated. Shelving will be purchased and assembled in 2008 in our new
library building. Help to upgrade your library -- buy a shelf.
