| In 1997, the Terrace Bay Public Library with the assistance of the Federal government and the township of Terrace Bay has been running and operating the Community Access Program (CAP). The CAP was designed to provide Internet technology to assist the public in acquiring the skills and knowledge they need to access the internet. Our CAP site offers public access to the internet on Six computers. The site has printers, a scanner, CD-ROM burner, photocopier and fax machine for public access. | |

| The site in Terrace Bay, located here at the Public Library, is open during regular library hours. The computers at the library are connected to the Internet. Scanning, printing and use of Internet are all available to the public. If you have a Library Card, there is no charge to use the computers. If you do not have a card, there is a $3.00 charge. | |
| FEES- Photocopying (.25 cents per copy) Laminating ($2.50 for first sheet and $1.50 each additional sheet) Computer (Non-resident - $3.00 *Unlimited time if other computers available - if other patrons waiting, then limited to 1 hour / Residents - FREE with library card) Printing From Computers (.25 cents per sheet for black and white / $1.25 for colour sheet) Scanning Done By Staff ($1.00 charge plus printing charges) | |
