| How to Join the Library |
| Your membership is free if you are a resident of Terrace Bay. People residing outside of the municipality but owning property, working in, or attending, an educational institution in Terrace Bay shall be considered residents. |
| Loans and Fines |
| A new library card is free for new patrons and a replacement is $5.00. Most books may be borrowed for three weeks. All materials are due back at the library on the date printed on the date slip you receive when checking materials out. |
| Fines for Overdue Books 25 cents per day per book to a maximum of $10 per book |
| Video/DVD/7 Day loan book are loaned for one week. Late fines are charged at a rate of $1.00 per day per item to a maximum of $10.00. |
| Each borrower is responsible for all materials loaned on his or her card and will be billed for loss or damage. Please return your library materials on time. |

| For people of all ages, as well as a special collection of LARGE PRINT books for people with sight problems. Books in many other languages are available on request. | |

NEW - CDS |
Many books titles are available on audio cassettes and CDs, read by famous authors and actors, for people who would like to "listen" to a book while doing something else. |
| We are a selective depository library for the government of Ontario. We regularly receive up-to-date information on government policy, programs and studies. | |
| We have a small archive including a complete set of local newspapers. | |
| We have new DVDs for both children and adults. |

| Our public access catalogue accessible from any computer connected to the internet and can be accessed from the link at the top this web site. It shows you what materials the library system has and where they are located. You can search by title, author, subject, keywords, etc. Please ask a staff member to show you how to use the catalogue. |
